I love scrapbooking. I remember when I started as a scrapper 13 years ago. Yep! I started scrappin’ when Michael’s had only one aisle of paper and pens and a few little kits that were acid-free. Hard to believe, eh?
But once I tried it, I was completely hooked! And shortly thereafter, I moved to Israel where scrapbooking was an ancient Chinese word for some strange ritual only done in fields of harvest. I mean seriously… what kind of word is scrapbooking? So, scrapbooking supplies in Israel was completely non-existent, to say the least. But I was determined to continue my hobby.
So, every time I visited the States, I would stock up on supplies (whatever I could find) shove it into my suitcase and scrap away. When the Internet started taking off, I started purchasing scrapbooking supplies online and have them shipped to friends or family that I knew were coming for a visit. It was the only way to get scrapbooking supplies in Israel.
Now, I own my own scrapbooking supplies store… right here in the Holy Land! I have supplies at my fingertips. It’s awesome! I admit that I can’t claim more than 1,000,000 supplies like addictedtoscrapbooking.com can, but for the serious hobbyist in Israel, my stock is nothing to laugh at.
So many of my friends and neighbors tell me they just don’t get the whole scrapbooking craze. And my answer to them is, “then you’ve never scrapped a page. Get back to me when you do.” Cuz let’s face it… once you’ve scrapped one page, the scrapbooking bug is with you forever. And the only way to get rid of that itch is to just scratch it.

Okay, addictedtoscrapbooking.com does have a ton of products that you can order, but they don’t have Hdar. Relationship is the basis of all scrapbooking. If we didn’t have relationships, we wouldn’t care about preserving our memories in books.
I admit I am completely and unashamedly addicted to scrapbooking, but giant and supersized doesn’t always get you everything you need or want. I would rather buy my supplies from someone like Hdar who has great passion and love of scrapbooking as a creative art than from a megastore. You can trade scrapbooking stories with someone like Hdar, and she will be glad to look at your finished pages and hear your stories too.
It’s wonderful to be able to have access to a million different scrapbooking products, but it will never be as wonderful as the relationships that are formed because of scrapbooking.
Buy supplies from Hdar and I am sure you will get more than just paper, scissors, and glue sticks. You will get scrapbooking relationship which will never be in stock at megastore.com.
