Today marks the first day with my computer back. It broke exactly 2 months ago and I’ve been waiting this long to get it fixed again. It amazes me how much we rely on technology today. After two weeks of no computer at all, I borrowed a laptop from my sister. (Thank goodness she had a spare!)
So, it’s true that I wasn’t computerless for the entire 2 months, however; I was MY-computerless for the entire two months and that can be very daunting. All my business software was unattainable, and I had to do everything by hand. Imagine!… BY HAND! Yes, I admit it. I am a product of modern times. And soooo thankful that I didn’t live a century ago.
And how did all this effect my scrapbooking? Well, without my computer to upload all the new photos, I got a LOT of cardmaking practice in. As an avid scrapper, I haven’t done much outside of the album. But in the past two months, I made gift boxes, greeting cards and all sorts of fun things from paper. It’s really been a lot of fun.
But, now the computer is back and the backload of paperwork is more daunting than the absence of the computer itself! So, wishing I had a glass of wine, I tackle the papers on my desk. Wish me luck and…
Happy Scrappin’!
