I know that it’s been a while since my last post. I really didn’t mean to disappear. Summer is here, the kids are home and I’m expecting my huge shipment of new inventory any day now. (I’m actually dealing with customs, right now… not fun.)
I’ve taken some fun pics this summer, though. And decided to post a few for your viewing pleasure. I want to scrap them before the end of summer.
I also purchased 5 new books — stamping, card making, fine paper crafts, paper crafts for children (which I intend to share with everyone here) and a general book about various techniques for scrapbooking.
I’ve been working on expanding my skill set a bit. As owner of a retail scrapbooking supply store in Israel, I’m basically considered a guru of scrapbooking. But I don’t feel like a guru. Ergo… all the books.
I enjoy reading and learning new things, though. Sometimes I think I like learning about scrapbooking more than I enjoy actually scrapping a page. (Sometimes.)
Anyway, I intend to post Part 2 of running a scrapbook camp shortly. Probably over the weekend. So, keep an eye out. Lots to share!
Happy Scrappin’!

Customs….that seems like that would be a challenge. When I was in college, I actually had a job at a customs broker helping them with paperwork. I primarily did Canadian shipments of IBM products. And Canadian anything into the United States didn’t seem all that complicated.
But I remember the woman who did the true “international” stuff. Her name was B.J. and she always had craziness on her desk. I can’t see how paper and stickers would cause a customs hold up but what do I know.
In fact, it makes me wonder if I should even pack scrapbooking things when I come to Israel. I love scrapbooking in hotels in the evening, it’s more fun than watching tv. Plus you can be inspired by your setting. But I wonder if I am going to cause a major problem in the airport if I have a trimmer in my suitcase? I know everything is going to be gone through several times, but I really don’t want to have to try to explain scrapbooking to the Israeli security people.
If I can bring supplies without a major security snafu, then I am all for packing them along. Let me know if any of you have had any success with that.
Okay, I have to gush over your beautiful children. And I love that you can see teeth in your little boy’s picture. I want a floral dress like the one your little girl is wearing. I would have worn something like that when I was little too. Thank goodness for digital cameras. You don’t have to spend an arm and a leg on film. You can save your apendages to sell for scrapbooking supplies!
I so enjoy your posts. I feel like I get to peek at a small corner of your life. I can’t wait to hear how the teen camp is coming together.
Be well, happy scrapbookers!
Just coming by to say “hi” and see what you’ve been up to. Hope your shipment came in okay. Have a great weekend!
