Staples.....hmmm......sounds like a scraptastrophe. But I am not a big fan of eyelets either and they have been a scrapbooking trend for sometime now. They are hard to set, and I don't want to be banging on my scrapbook pages. Staples make me think that I would be banging on the pages too.

Chipboard is my friend. Chipboard is fun, and willing to be transformed. Chipboard does not put unnecessary holes in beautiful Bazzill cardstock. Plain white chipboard can be painted, chalked, inked, glittered, and decorated in any happy way you choose.

I recently did a page of lilacs and used chipboard letters to spell out "lilacs." I painted the letters lavender and then lightly glittered them with a light purple. The page turned out great.

I just bought a set of pre-glittered chipboard letters in red to use for the upcoming 4th of July holiday. Yes, I am in the States and thinking in red, white and blue for my next pages.

I hope all the scrapbookers on the other side of the world are well. I love that scrapbooking creates bridges with paper. I am not holding my bridges together with staples though! I am holding those bridges together with love, prayers, and blessings.
